Report of a two-alarm fire at Masjid E Basheer building on Union Avenue about about 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

This is the former's Friendly's Masjid E Basheer is a Muslim place of worship for Framingham's Islamic community. Operating under the umbrella of Islamic Society of Framingham, Masjid E Basheer conducts regular Muslim prayer sessions five times a day.

An additional pump was requested after the Framingham Fire Department arrived on the scene. Heavy smoke showing.
