Samba Steak & Sushi Takes Over Chef Orient
"Although it will be business as usual in the beginning, we'll soon renovate to bring an Asian fusion concept to Framingham that's both fresh and modern," said owner Joseph Zhang.
Samba Steak & Sushi House has taken over Chef Orient.
"We are excited to announce that we've taken over the Chef Orient property," said owner Joseph Zhang.
"Although it will be business as usual in the beginning, we'll soon renovate to bring an Asian fusion concept to Framingham that's both fresh and modern," said Zhang told Framingham Patch.
"Our customers will soon be able to enjoy Thai, Japanese and traditional Asian American cuisine at the New Chef Orient," he added.
On Samba's Facebook page, Zhang asked customers to make suggested for the New Chef Orient. We'd love to hear your thoughts to what you would like to see at the new location. Tell us in the comments.
And for a limited time, Zhang is offering twin lobsters at the Chef Orient location for $17.95. (see attached flyer.)

Now it will be clean in there - stopped going about 2 yrs ago when I saw how neglected the venue was - if they couldn't keep the dining room clean, what about the kitchen! Looking forward to good Thai!

Samba's is excellent!!! Chef Orient has cleary struggled from what once a top motch restaurant.
Clearly a redo....interior and exterior entry way and significant clean up and redo for Samba's II would draw a lot of new interest.
