Saturday, Dec. 11: Crafts, Crafts, and More Crafts
Consider bringing the kids to the Amazing Things Arts Center this afternoon for a family-friendly show.
1. The Framingham Auxilliary Police host its 23rd Annual Craft Fair today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Keefe Technical. Bring your holiday shopping list, because you'll find more than 125 crafters and exhibitors. Admission is $2.50 adults, childrern free.
2. Students in the Framingham Parks and Recreation's skating program complete their session today. The Parks and Recreation's second session of skating is sold out, but the town department has lots of other programs that still have openings.
3. Framingham Library is holdings its 2nd Annual Winter Crafts Fair today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. About two dozen artisans and crafters are expected. Admission is free.
4. The Amazing Things Arts Center welcomes Tanglewood Marrionettes at 2 p.m. Tickets are still available for this family-friendly matinee show.
5. In 1946, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) was established. Consider helping a family in need this holiday season. Several local agencies are holding toy drives, including the Framingham Fire Department, the Framingham Police Department, Framingham Parks & Recreation and the United Way of Tri-County.
