Sheraton Framingham Completes Ballroom Renovations

The Grand Ballroom features 18-foot ceilings adorned with Irish crystal chandeliers, and accommodates up to 1,200 people theatre style or 700 seated guests.

The Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center is introducing an enhanced Grand Ballroom.

The hotel’s ballroom enhancement is part of an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation plan that also includes refurbished guestrooms, renewed public spaces, an updated fitness center and a revamped contemporary restaurant and lounge, according to a press release.

Upgrades to the ballroom include a fresh color palette, decorative wall finishes and brand new carpet. The space infuses modern elements with the classically sophisticated design of Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center.

The Grand Ballroom features 18-foot ceilings adorned with Irish crystal chandeliers, and accommodates up to 1,200 people theatre style or 700 seated guests. It can also be sectioned off for more intimate entertaining.

Interior design firm Hager and Associates, Inc. led the re-design, with the Tri-North Builders overseeing the property's remodeling. AREA Property Partners purchased the hotel in a joint venture with Ultima Hospitality in 2011. Ultima Hospitality manages the property.

Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center currently includes amenities such as high-speed wireless Internet access, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness facility, two restaurants, a Sheraton Club Lounge and approximately 22,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 14,000 square-foot conference center.
