This recall was announced almost two weeks ago - why does it ALWAYS take Stop & Shop so long to respond to recalls? Part of the reason we treat both S&Ss like 7-11s - only in an emergency!

@Brenda: I had to laugh when posting this recall notice, as my familybought Mangos in July but they were eaten and long gone within a week. I was wondering who still has mangos from July in their home - hope they are frozen.

Freezing will NOT kill the bacteria

@Brenda - I did know; that but if I don't freeze our mango into cubes during the summer I have a moldy mess in less than a week. That's why I found the recall interesting that it goes all the way back to mid-July.
