STUDY: Women Look Their Oldest at 3.30 p.m. Wednesday
Study also says a quarter of women feel stressed several times a week - while one in five (19 percent) admit they will work through Wednesday's lunch hour.
Feeling old today?
According to a study sponsored by atanning company St. Tropez, two-thirds of women experience an energy "slump" on Wednesday afternoons, reports MSN.com
By Wednesday, experts add, weekend partying and workweek insomnia catch up with our skin.
On Thursday, though, weekend anticipation boosts moods. That's when women report they are most likely to have sex, which may be why on Friday, 60 percent say they're at their happiest and most glowing.
A quarter of women feel stressed several times a week - while one in five (19 per cent) admit they will work through Wednesday's lunch hour, reported the study's experts to The Telegraph.
More than a third (37 per cent) reported Monday night is when they are most likely to get a bad night's sleep.
"A lack of sleep on a Monday does not bode well for how the skin will look on Wednesday," said a study expert to The Telegraph. "The effects of a lack of sleep can take 48 hours to show on the face, so if many women sleep badly on Monday they will look their oldest on Wednesday."
The research was carried out to support the launch of St Tropez Gradual Tan Plus Anti-Ageing Face.
