Seven kindergarteners from Summit Montessori School were one of 25 honorable mention winners in the nationwide Scholastic Book Fairs Kids Are Authors competition. These seven students wrote and and illustrated a folk tale which they entitled The Clever Little Fish at the Bottom of the Sea. They received certficates from Scholastic honoring their achievement, and a $500 prize for product for the classroom.
