Crash Closes Mass Pike

An empty tanker jackknifed and is blocking three lanes of the Massachusetts Turnpike westbound in Framingham.

 

UPDATED: 4:22 p.m. All lanes westbound on the Massachusetts Turnpike are now open. Drivers waived tolls at Exit 13 ends at 5 p.m.

UPDATED: 4:10 p.m. Breakdown lane westbound is open.

Framingham Fire reported one vehicle underneath the tanker.

Two individuals have been transported to the hospital.

Mass Pike westbound has been shut down. Mass Pike eastbound is open.

Mass Pike westbound traffic is being detoured onto Route 9 and Route 30 at Exit 13 in Natick. Tolls are being waved coming off the Pike at Exit 13 headed west.

An empty tanker jackknifed and is blocking three lanes of the Massachusetts Turnpike westbound in Framingham just after 3 p.m. Report of driver pinned.

Framingham Fire, Natick Fire and Massachusetts State Police are on the scene.

Natick Police tweeted there may be two individuals injured, as second vehicle may be involved.
