VIDEO: Framingham High Hosts Go Public! Campaign To Market State's Public Colleges, Universities

The brainchild of State Rep. Tom Sannicandro, Framingham High Monday night hosted a Go Public! forum on the state's public colleges and universities, featuring four current students as speakers. It was one of two type forums to be held in Massachusetts.
Sannicandro, who represents Framingham and Ashland, wanted a way to market the state's public colleges and universities to families.
More than 50 parents and students attended the event, which also included the state's commissioner of education, Framingham State University President Timothy Flanagan, Mass Bay Community College President John O'Donnell, Framingham's other state rep. Chris Walsh and State Sen.Karen Spilka.
Framingham High Principal started the event by welcoming everyone to Framingham High School.
