VIDEO: Girl Organizes Halloween Ball; Raises $500 for Susan G. Komen Foundation
Attendees to the first-ever Kids' Halloween Ball were treated to a spooky dinner, participated in arts & crafts and danced the night away.
Suzanna Sarkar hosted a Kids' Halloween Ball Saturday to raise money for the Susan G. Komen's Boston 3-day for the Cure 2013 event.
Her mom Joanna will participate in her fourth walk next summer, in memory of her mother and grandmother.
The first-ever event held at First Parish Church in Framingham raised $500.
Suzanna is a Framingham Girl Scouts.
The fundraiser is very fitting as the birthday of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low is on Halloween. (Today would have been her 152nd birthday); and Low died of breast cancer.
