Dozens and dozens of brightly colored golf balls fell from the sky Sunday at Hemenway Elementary School, as part of the PTO's golf ball drop fundraiser.

The event, ended the PTO's successful spring fair.

With the help of the Framingham Fire Department, golf balls were dropped. Each had a number on it. Individuals had paid $10 to "own" each golf ball.

The ball closest to a flag placed under the bucket on the fire truck won $700.

Prizes were also awarded for the ball farthest from the flag, and second closest to the flag.
