A couple of thundrstorms rolled into Framingham this afternoon, bringing loud thunder, downpours and dime-size hail.
A couple of thundrstorms rolled into Framingham this afternoon, bringing loud thunder, downpours and dime-size hail.
Route 9 near the Route 126 intersection is flooded, as it typically does when heavy rains happens in a short amount of time. Best to avoid Route 9.
There are reports of flooding in several roads in Framingham including Speen and Pearl streets.
Framingham Patch readers are encouraged to upload photos and videos.
They began just after 2 p.m. and are still continuing now.
The National Weather Service says Framingham can expect storms through 9 p.m.

I think it was the corner of Kendall and Freeman - I was driving through downtown and the traffice was worse than usual - tried to take a shortcut over to Bishop - took a right on Kendall, and saw the boat!

While Route 9 at the Route 126 intersection always floods in heavy rains, it was unusual for me to see a boat in that neighborhood!
