Kindergarten students at Summit Montessori penned a story, which has been published by Scholastic. In this video, Framingham's Elwyn Jacobs reads the book.

Reading of The Clever Little Fish at the Botton of the Sea

Seven kindergarteners from Summit Montessori School were one of 25 honorable mention winners in the nationwide Scholastic Book Fairs Kids Are Authors competition. There were thousands of entries.

The seven students wrote and and illustrated a folk tale which they entitled The Clever Little Fish at the Bottom of the Sea.

They received certficates from Scholastic honoring their achievement, and a $500 prize for product for the classroom. The book has been published.

The seven students are Bella Busconi-Cambria of Shrewsbury, Jonathan Chiu of Wellesley, Zinna Greene of Southborough, Logan Herguth of Sudbury, Elwyn Jacobs of Framingham (shown in the video reading the book), Sophie Khalid of Southborough and Sumanasri Surisetti of Framingham.
