Is a burger considered a sandwich? Because you really should include 5 Guys in that case.

This is a wonderful category !!
It should be more "specific" as to the type of sandwich.
So many types !!!
So many choices !
So many places !!

@Paul - yes a burger does count. I will add 5 Guys to the list.
And answering a question on our Facebook page at the same time, wraps count too!

@Harvey - Framingham is so large it may have helped to have a specific type of sandwich, thanks for the feedback!

The Tavern has the best Steak & Cheese around. Also the "Tavern Burger" is unreal as well. You should put them on the list.

Thanks for your vote Amy! I didn't even know about this contest...I hope the Framingham Patch will recognize Eggcetera, Etc. as one of the greatest new restaurants in town (I don't think they've been in yet)!!

We also have awesome CHEESE GRILLERS & we just added BAGEL BURGERS to the menu -- talk about a great sandwiches!

I would strongly advocate for putting burgers in a separate category. A burger is not a sandwich. It's a burger....

Sub - Centre Pizza - best sausage sub in Framingham.
High End Sandwich - Panera Bread
Burger - Five Guys - Bacon Double Cheeseburger with everything.

@Karen - Me too. My family has never been.
We just checked out the menu and I see besides their steak & cheese they have on the menu a bacon-wrapped pickle and bacon-wrapped Pop-Tarts.
They do have Sweet Potato fries on the menu, which sound yummy.

Question: Fans of the Tavern, Can you do takeout?

Not to be negative, but I'd hate to see "the best" be a chain, i.e. Five Guys. Especially when you can find such good places to land like the Tavern. This bar is most definitely the friendliest place you'll walk into. the Tavern's steak'n'cheese, is by far the most delightful in all of Metrowest. And for the all too-deserving category of: "Best Burger" well kids, the Tavern takes that one too. I assure you, you will not find another burger like this one anywhere around. Definitely go check out the Tavern, I love that place and they have great entertainment on Wednesdays and weekends. Love it.

Cj's Northside is in Nobscot at the old Riley's - locally owned and operated.

Tavern is downtown, if you are coming down Route 135 from Ashland, take a right at Route 126 and I believe your next left. Only open after 3 p.m. Has musical acts at night.

We've only been open a few months & ppl are still finding out about us, so we may not get a ton of votes, but if nothing else, maybe it will help to bring awareness to the community that Eggcetera, Etc., in addition to our other menu items, also offers an EGG SANDWICH (we call it an OmWich), a create-your-own STIR-FRY or SALAD WRAP, BAGEL BURGERS, and really good CHEESE GRILLERS... It's too bad that most of the eateries listed are mega-chains. Hardly any of these are exclusive to Framingham. I would suggest the Pizza wagon's Buffalo Tender Sub. I'm not sure if it's on the menu, but they will make it if asked. Crisp, juicy, spicy chicken is something I sorely miss. I don't think the pizza is all that great as I believe the crust is pre-made, bu the Buffalo chicken tender sub is amazing.
