We’re two weeks into November and yet there was still plenty of Flyer Football to be enjoyed this past weekend.

The 5^th and 7^th grade teams both played in the semifinal round of their respective President’s Cup final. Unfortunately, both teams lost in extremely competitive games. The 7^th grade was defeated by Lincoln-Sudbury by a score of 22-8. The Flyers were mounting a late comeback but just fell short on 4^th down. The 5^th graders were defeated by Needham by an even closer score of 19-12.

The 6^th grade team prevailed over Marlboro 35-24 to advance to the Regional championship. They will face the Monroe Lions, winner of the Connecticut state championship game, on Sunday. The field will be located at:

Finally, the 8^th grade suffered a loss to Charleton-Dudley in an extremely hard fought battle. The final score was 32-22. The 8^th grade roster deserves recognition as well.
