Tomorrow, April 18, is Marathon Monday. The race actually begins shortly 9 a.m. in Hopkinton. The Framingham Business Association, comprised of more than 50 downtown merchants are opening their doors to welcome visitors on Marathon Monday. The goal of the open house is to allow the foot traffic heading to the Boston Marathon to stop in and visit the businesses and see what is happening in downtown Framingham. Nubia Gaset, president of the association, is heading up the event and area businesses are hopeful that they can show visitors what they have to offer.  “I am one of only two florists in Framingham” said Gaset.
