State Rep. Tom Sannicandro (D-Ashland) won all six of the Framingham precincts in the 7th Middlesex District and every precinct in Ashland to defeat his Republican challenger Jon Fetherston. Framingham Patch first reported the win Tuesday night before 9:30. Fetherston, the former chair of the Ashland Board of Selectmen, didn't even reach 100 votes in two of the six precincts in Framingham. Framingham results are unofficial, as the Framingham Town Clerk's office has some issues with some machines at the polling places, due to thickness and width of the ballots. Because of those issues the Town…

Hundreds of supporters of Sen. Scott Brown attended a rally for him Wednesday afternoon at Ken's Steak House. Headlining the rally was New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Republican like Brown, who endorsed Brown for re-election. Brown, an incumbent, is being challenged by Elizabeth Warren for his U.S. Senate seat. Christie told the crowd, estimated at 400, that Massachusetts is smart enough to realize it already has an independent-minded thinker, who votes with his heart for Massachusetts and doesn't always vote the party line and that "you better not let Brown go." To hear more of what …
Sen. Scott Brown's Wife - former TV news reporter Gail Huff - brought the Women for Brown campaign to Framingham and Jennifer's Gourmet Tuesday. A large crowd met her outside the Worcester Road small business. Inside Huff talked to women about the economy and other important issues.
Politics are no laughing matter, but with little more than two weeks remaining before the Nov. 6 elections, Massachusetts Democrats looked for a shot in the arm from the so-called “clown” of the Democratic Party, Al Franken, the former Saturday Night Live cast member turned US Senator from Minnesota. Franken was in Massachusetts Oct. 19 to support Elizabeth Warren, the U.S. Senate candidate looking to unseat the Scott Brown, the Republican incumbent, in a tight race many politicos expect will have ramifications far beyond the Commonwealth’s borders. And the stumping stopped here in Lexington …
Jon Fetherston, a Republican challenger to state Rep. Tom Sannicandro, talked politics with PBS news anchor Gwen Ifill at an weekend event in Natick with U.S. Sen Scott Brown. Thanks to Framingham resident Janet Leombruno for submitting the photo.

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown said it wasn't the trains or the bridges in downtown Framingham, that helped Carrie Cardeiro and Shane Jinson open Carrie Anne's in the spring of 2011. "It was the doughnuts," the senator joked, as he praised the owners for being a prime example of his "We Built This" campaign  while making a dig at his democratic challenger, about her push for more bridges and road construction during the election campaign. Cardeiro and Jinson, who posed with Brown, and his wife Gail and daughter Ayla yesterday for photos, opened the local establishment on Route 135 in the spring of …

Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren. Fetherston and Scott Brown supporters were in the office earlier making phone calls to the voters in Ashland and Framingham urging them to vote for their candidates.  At 7 p.m. they stopped calling to enjoy the rousing debate. The audience was very excited and cheered as Brown debated his Democratic opponent with facts and strong rhetoric. Everyone is excited about the…
