St. Bridget School is happy to share the news that Sgt. Monique Dini, whose daughter attends St. Bridget School, has returned safely home after a year in Kuwait. Check out the "welcome back sign" which hangs near the entrance of the school. St. Bridget School Prinicpal Roseanne Mungovan said the school prayed every day, for the past year, that she would return home safely. Dini returned home to the U.S. last month, but before returning back to the Bay State she had to stop at Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst, N.J., for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures first. Just wanted to share this with other Framingham parents: We've been painting our snow! I bought some empty spray bottles at Wal-Mart and filled them with water and several drops of food coloring (adding salt doesn't help melt the snow. I tried.) and my two year olds and I go out when the weather allows and have at it! It works a little better on the ice we have now, than it did on the powdery snow we had before, and it's the only way I can figure to let the kids play in the ever-tightening driveway since we'll never be able to use the backyard again! Brendan Walsh, Zack Morrie, Paul Walter and Patrick Kane, all 14, and all students at Marian High spent three hours today creating a hockey rink on Oaks Road. The quartet also play hockey at Marian High, which had no school and no practice today.
