Indian Music (Natraj) & Indian Food (Green Chili Restaurant)
7-8pm food / 8pm show
We're trying something different this Friday night... Food... glorious [Indian] food!!! Well not altogether new, a couple of years ago we did a Cajun band and had jambalaya at that show. This Friday we have Indian music from Natraj featuring a world renowned sitar master Chirag Katti. And as part of this great event, we'll be serving chicken tikka masala and vegetable tikka masala on rice and reita - a lovely yogurt salad. The meal
cooked by chef Anthony Gomes from our wonderful local Indian restaurant Green Chile. This is the type of event that we have been really hankerin' to do - ethnic food accompanied by ethnic music - a heavenly combination. I hope we can do more of this stuff! Come on down! The meal will be all you can eat as long as it lasts and will be only $8.
World-jazz ensemble Natraj features special guest, sitar master Chirag Katti, saxophonist Phil Scarff, bassist Mike Rivard, tabla and multipercussion wizard Jerry Leake, and drummer Bertram Lehmann.
