Arthur Singer and Ron Goodman will share fascinating stories from their new book Boston’s Downtown Movie Palaces, as they share the images and history of Boston’s movie venues. Boston has been a trendsetter in the development of the movie business since the late 1800’s, and the speakers will invoke memories of double features, kiddie shows and the sheer fun and pleasure of “going out to the movies.” Copies of their book will be available for sale and signing.
