More About Framingham State University
Located on 73 acres off Route 9, Framingham State University changed its name from Framingham State College in 2010. The four-year co-educational, public university offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Degrees offered include: BA, BS, BSEd, MA, MS, MEd, MBA and MSN. Students may major in 25 undergraduate programs and there are 24 graduate programs.
The University currently maintains 3,800 undergrad students and almost 2,150 graduate students. About 14 percent of the students are minority. More than 90 percent of the students are from Massachusetts.
Known as the Rams, the University's colors are black and gold.
Framingham State University also has a graduate and continuing education division offering certificate programs.
