Caroling on the Common
Come to Historic Village Hall on Framingham Center Common and share in a traditional holiday celebration! Voices of MetroWest, a premier multi-generational community choir, leads the caroling and welcomes all who wish to sing along! Santa will be here, and children can create a keepsake ornament to take home. Enjoy a tasty treat while sipping hot cocoa, and be sure to see the display of vintage decorations including some from Dennison Manufacturing. Free admission; nominal purchase for keepsake ornament. Our mobile gift-shop will also be open here - a great source for your uniquely-Framingham stocking stuffers, books and gifts! Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation for our local food pantries.
More About Village Hall
Built in 1834 (during Andrew Jackson's presidential term), Village Hall was has been a library and town offices. Today, the Greek Revival–style structure is available to rent for weddings and other social events. There is a large foyer, a cocktail reception room, a bar service area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hall can provide tables and chairs, too. It can be booked for up to six hours at a time.
Village Hall is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
