Does your child like to draw? Write? Take pictures? Make movies? Engage in some other creative medium? Does your child enjoy being outdoors? This workshop, led by Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah, is intended to create an environment in which children and adults are encourage to record their interactions with the natural world through whatever medium works best for her or him.

We will go outside together to explore and play games and engage in activities designed to open our eyes and our hearts to the natural world around us. Indoors, both you and your child will each create a record of that experience as a way to begin your own nature journals. An adult must accompany each child, maximum of three children per adult.
