Mary Spencer and Joel Moskowitz share an affinity for an expressionist sometimes dark view of emotional life set in black and white, shades of gray and sparks of color. They met at the Boston Visual Artists Union and have nurtured and critiqued each other's work for over 30 years as their styles have changed, both of them living in the Boston area.
