DESCRIPTION:﻿﻿﻿﻿Danforth Museum in Framingham\, Mass.\, is planni
 ng a Free Fun Friday for kids and families\, 10-5 p.m.\, Friday\, July 1
 3. The event is sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation and NMTW Cre
 dit Union.\nA big tent will be set up on the front lawn where kids will 
 participate in fun art activities: painting\, collaging\, sculpture-maki
 ng\, and chalk drawing.\nInside the museum\, families will have the oppo
 rtunity to participate in a spy mission and in their search for works of
  art\, they'll learn how to look at and understand contemporary painting
 s\, photography\, prints\, and sculpture. An activity passport and map w
 ill guide families throughout the museum and provide fun activities alon
 g the way.\nChildren's book authors/illustrators will be reading from th
 eir books in the Arter Gallery. Jen Hill author of Percy and Tum Tum: A 
 Tale of Two Dogs\, will be reading at 11 a.m. John-Paul Jimenz\, author 
 of Gutterfish and Subway Deer\, will be reading at 1 p.m. Kristen Sims w
 ill be reading at 2 p.m.\nFood trucks providing sandwiches\, hamburgers\
 , and desserts will be in the parking lot.\nAdmission to the museum and 
 all activities are free and open to children and adults of all ages.\nTh
