This third of three workshops on sections of the New England fern flora includes once-cut ferns, including Asplenium and Polypodium; triangular blades including Botrychia; and a few other oddities - everything not covered in the Fancy Ferns or the Twice-Cut Ferns workshops. Fresh specimens of many of these ferns are provided. Class includes charts of distinguishing characteristics and some microscopic examination by students.

Garden In The Woods
Garden in the Woods is the New England Wild Flower Society's living museum. It showcases more than 1,000 flora varieties of indigenous to New England.
The landscape transforms as the seasons shift, offering visitors a different experience with every stroll. The gift shop offers the garden's featured varieties for sale. Public tours are offered once daily. Groups may also schedule tours in advance.
Its education center is a window-lines space overlooking the gardens. It is available for private parties, speciali events and meetings or conferences. The facility accommodates up to 75 guests.
