The Department of Veteran Services and Benefits would like to invite the community to participate in a Memorial Day Ceremony on the front steps of the Memorial Building, Monday 28 May 2012. The Ceremony will start at 12:00.
This year’s Guest Speaker is Framingham resident Takia A. Rust. Ms Rust has had two tours of duty in the Middle East, each one designated as an “Imminent Danger zone”. The first was to Iraq in 2006 and the second was to Kuwait in 2010. Ms Rust was a Motor Transport Operator based out of the 1060th Transportation Company in Framingham, MA.

More About Framingham Town Hall: Memorial Building
Framingham Town Hall is known as the Memorial Building. It houses town offices, including those of the town manager, town clerk, tax collector, assessors, Board of Health, Planning Board, chief financial officer and more. Inside the Memorial Building is also Nevins Hall. The staircase outside plays host to the town's annual holiday celebration, including a Christmas tree and Santa Claus. The main foyer of the Memorial Building is dedicated to Framingham veterans.
