Suicide kills over 400 peope a year in Massachusetts.  These deaths are preventable and you can help.  Samaritans is looking for volunteers to staff listening helpline.  This service is free and confidential, and available 24 hours a day.  Right now, there are many people that are struggling with loneliness, depression, or suicidal feelings and need someone to talk to who will really listen.  You can be that someone by volunteering with Samaritans.  We need you and so do our callers.  Help prevent suicide and alleviate to pain of isolation.  Be a Samaritan vollunteer.  All volunteer training is free.  We have call centers in both Boston and Framingham.  Please call us today at 508-872-1780 or visit us at www.samaritanshope.org for more information.  Thank you.
