TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM BROTHERHOOD 2012 – 2013 BREAKFAST SERIES
This talk will detail the amazing breakthroughs and accomplishments of the company over 90 years. The talk will start with a simple explanation of how radars and phase-arrays work. Throughout the talk Dr. Brookner will insert some of his beautiful travel slides from such places like Israel, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, China, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Turkey, and India.
Dr. Brookner is a Principal Engineering Fellow at Raytheon Company. Audiences of over 10,000 people worldwide in 24 countries have attended his radar courses presented by this successful and highly acclaimed speaker and author. Dr. Brookner is the editor and a principal contributor to three books on radar: Additionally, he has over 230 talks and papers to his credit, and is a Fellow of the IEEE, AIAA and MSS. He is the recipient of the the IEEE Dennis Picard medal in 2006 for contributions in Radars and Phased Arrays.

More About Temple Beth Sholom
Temple Beth Sholom is a conservative Jewish congregation. It is under the direction of Rabbi Laurence Bazer and Cantor Scott Sokol. Services are held weekly in the mornings and evenings. In addition to holding service, the synagogue also has the Acharai parent-child program that interacts toddlers with their parents, the Temple Beth Sholom Preschool which is for children ages 2 - 5, a religious school for students grades K - 7 and special adult education courses and instruction, including rabbi classes and bar/bat mitzvah classes for adults. Weekly Torah instruction is offered as well.
