$18.00
Rich Greenblatt is a vibraphonist with “dazzling speed and a truly magical touch” writes John Blenn in Good Times Magazine. Recording Artist on Brass Taco Records with 3 CD’s released as a leader; Rich combines the swinging, bluesy style of Milt Jackson with the four-mallet approach of Gary Burton. Rich’s original compositions encompass ‘swinging modality, heartfelt lyricism, compositional angularity, and dark beauty’ writes world-renowned, fellow vibist Joe Locke. Longtime band mates Gilson Schachnik (piano), Fernando Huergo (bass) and Steve Langone (drums) breath fire, subtlety and beauty into the bands repertory. Legendary saxophonist, Jerry Bergonzi, will be the special guest tonight making this and evening of lyricism and groove not to be missed.
