 aming up with Wayside Youth and Family Support Network to provide a spec
 ial Women&rsquo\;s Self-Defense seminar. &nbsp\;This special training se
 ssion will take place on Saturday\, June 16th from 2:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M.
  at the Impact School of Martial Arts\, 191 Mechanic St. in Bellingham. 
 &nbsp\;Proceeds from this event will benefit the local Domestic Violence
  and Rape Center in Milford. &nbsp\;The Impact Women&rsquo\;s Self Defen
 se Class is geared toward giving women the confidence and skills to prot
 ect themselves from attack. &nbsp\;Topics to be covered during the sessi
 on include gun and knife defense\, striking and kicking\, becoming aware
  of your surroundings\, how to decrease vulnerability by minimizing your
  potential to become a victim\, and how to develop the most important we
 apon &ndash\; your mind.&ldquo\;All women live with a certain level of r
 isk of violent crime\, and this training will provide them with the tang
 ible skills and confidence to stay safe\, said Impact Master Instructor\
 , Soke Greg Goepfert. &nbsp\;&ldquo\;We are proud to partner with Waysid
 e to help contribute to the safety of women in our community\, and help 
 enhance the important work of the Domestic Violence and Rape Center.&rdq
