5. On Tuesday, The Tavern in Framingham celebrated its 5th anniversary. The downtown establishment is known for great local music and some say its pub food. Personally, I like the Tavern Burger, the bacon-wrapped fried Pop-Tart, not-so-much.

Susan- so great to have you back even though you are 100 percent wrong about the bacon wrapped pop tart. It is fantastic as long as you have about 10 people sharing it. :) the Tavern is a great place and I am glad they are here.

Civilized people can disagree. Happy to be back, but of all the things I have tried in Framingham, that Pop-Tart is one I would NOT try again!

I love everything about The Tavern. The owner and the employees are friendly, the food is great and the atmosphere is friendly. The Tavern has been the starting place for a lot of local bands and offers a Live Jam on Thursday nights for any local musician to come out and have a great time. Overall The Tavern is a great bar and my favorite. -Danwetherbee.

The Tavern is a great downtown hangout! Loved that they hosted a fundraiser for marathon victims last year and love that they stock Jack's Abby brews! Cheers to 5 more years!
