5 Things You Need To Know Today: Feb. 21

Belfast Cowboys perform in Nobscot and final Marian High ice hockey game featured in today's column.

1. Spend the afternoon at the Fountain Street Fine Art gallery and its latest show - Wicked 2014, a juried show. The gallery is open today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2. Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Grayson Hugh will perform tonight at 8 at The Amazing Things Arts Center. 

Known for his global radio hits (Talk It Over, Bring It All Back, Finally Found A Friend) and his songs in blockbuster films Fried Green Tomatoes and Thelma and Louise, Hugh has been wowing audiences around the world for more than two decades with his soulful singing, poetic lyrics and masterful piano playing. Tickers are $20, $19 for seniors and students, $17 for members and $10 for children under age 12.

3. The Marian High ice hockey team has its final home game of the season tonight at 6 at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough against Matignon. Go Mustangs!
​4. The Belfast Cowboys will take the stage at Nobscot's Cafe tonight at 9. Consider going to the cafe early and have a traditional boiled dinner and then stay to listen to Irish tunes.

5. In Case You Missed It:  Both the principal at Framingham High School and Walsh Middle School may be leaving the Framingham Public Schools. Both are finalists for positions in other MetroWest communities. 

Framingham High Principal Mike Welch is one of three finalists for the Westborough Superintendent post. Walsh Principal Teresa Carney is a finalist to be a middle school principal in Natick.
