5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: April 24

Tomorrow night is opening night for Framingham Community Theater's newest murder mystery dinner theater show ​Atwitter of Terror. Tickets are still available.

1. Tomorrow night is opening night for Framingham Community Theater's newest murder mystery dinner theater show.

Atwitter of Terror will be performed at Bella Costa Ristorante on April 25-26 and May 2-4. Admission, which includes a 3-course dinner and a show is $45. $43 for seniors and youths.

​In the dinner theatre show ​Atwitter of Terror ​audience and cast members alike are attending​ ​Dr. Dill McGraw's self-help seminar, Navigating Social Media for theCelebrity in All of Us.​ ​​Someone is tweeting​ ​and texting death threats to one of the seminar participants. 

With celebrity participants like Kam Kardishian, Joan Dithers, Justin​ ​Blabber, and Abe LinkedIn, suspects (and egos) abound. Throw in Dr. Dill and a detective named Jugs Bunny with a cast of crazy celebs and the​ ​stage is set for this silly send-up of social media and murder mystery
dinner theater.

2. The Framingham Planning Board is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Ablondi Room in the Memorial Building.

On the agenda is public hearings for an affordable housing development on Clark's Hill and special permit for a home at 13 Warren Road.

3. There is a free screening tonight of the documentary film The Ghost Army at the main Framingham Library at 7.

The Ghost Army was a secret WWII unit that duped Hitler’s Army.

Filmmaker Rick Beyer will introduce his 2013 documentary and answer questions after the 68-minute screening.

4. The Records & Burpee's Children's Traveling Zoo is set up in the parking lot of Pinefield Shopping Center through Sunday, April 27. There are ponies and camels (which you can ride for a small fee) and goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas (which you can feed for 25 cents). The hours are 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., except Sunday, when it will close at 5 p.m. 

5. ​In Case You Missed It:  The  Fluffernutter is one step closer to becoming Massachusetts’ official state sandwich. The bill to designate the local favorite as the official sandwich of the commonwealth was advanced Tuesday by a voice vote during an informal session of the House of Representatives, the Associated Press is reporting.​ ​The bill was filed by former Revere State Rep. Kathi-Anne Reinstein.
