5 Things You Need To Know Today: May 20

Featured in today's column: Cameron Middle School jazz concert, Night 10 of Town Meeting, Hatha yoga and the 50th annual 200 Foundation event.

1.  Cameron Middle School's jazz band will perform a free concert at the Callahan Senior Center today at 10:30 a.m.
2.  Framingham Town Meeting members made their way through Article 26 Thursday night. Tonight they will begin debate on Article 27 and open space plan, proposed by the Framingham Planning Board, which was previously featured in a Framingham Patch article. Night 10 of Town Meeting is scheduled to begin tonight at 7:30 in Nevins Hall inside the Memorial Building or when a quorum is reached. 

3. Framingham Selectmen will not hold a public meeting tonight. They will meet in closed session prior to Town Meeting.

4. Open Spirit: A Place of Hope, Health & Harmony at 39 Edwards St will hold a Hatha yoga class at 5:30 tonight for beginners and intermediate level.

5. In case you missed it: The 50th annual 200 Foundation gourmet dinner will be held Wednesday, June 18 at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury. Tickets are still available.

Since 1964, The 200 Foundation, a group of Metrowest business and community leaders has focused on raising money for programs that assist underprivileged families and individuals.
