5 Things You Need To Know Today: May 30

A Framingham restaurant, on Route 30, has closed and Boston College High has ended the Framingham boys lacrosse team's season.

1. Well, Blue Agave did not stay open long.

The Mexican restaurant, which was having a lease dispute, has closed permanently.

The sign was removed on Wednesday and the door was closed for business on Thursday. 

On Cinco de Mayo, a for lease sign was posted at Blue Agave Mexican Grill on Cochituate Rd, but the following week, the restaurant's manager said they were still open for business - for now. That lasted only a couple of more weeks.

2. Boston College High Boys Lacrosse team ended Framingham High's season Thursday. The Eagles lost 11-4 in the MIAA Division 1 South tournament. 

Framingham Patch will have a slideshow from the final game posted on Friday thanks to Cummings Photography, who travelled to Dorchester for the game.

3. Choro das 3, a Brazilian trio of sisters formed in 2003, will take the stage at Amazing Things Arts Center tonight at 8. The sisters - Corina, Lia and Elisa play instrumental music, with their father.

Tickets are $20, $19 for seniors and students, $17 for members and $10 for children under age 12.

Amazing Things' website states: "Corina, 25, plays flute and piccolo. Lia, 22, plays 7-string guitar. Elisa, 19, plays mandolin, banjo, clarinet and piano. Their father, Eduardo, plays pandeiro (the Brazilian tambourine). 

In 2005, Choro das 3 played for the President of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, or "Lula," who praised the ban's music. The band also received accolades after playing for Jose Serra and Geraldo Ackimin, officials of the State of Sao Paolo. 

In 2006 Choro das 3 played for more than 70,000 people at a Mass for Peace in Sao Paolo's Morumbi Stadium." 

4. Pete & Joe, Two Guys on Guitar, will take the stage at Nobscot's Cafe tonight at 9. No cover charge.
