5 Things You Need To Know Today: May 8

1. John Lennon & The Beatles Night at the Framingham Library. Tonight the Framingham Library and Framingham State University present John Lennon, the Beatles and Us featuring guest speaker Tim Riley, a Lennon biographer and Assistant Professor at Emerson College at 7. Riley is also a music commentator on NPR. The presentation covers myths about Lennon’s life and work, while bringing key insights to his most famous songs.

2. Laughter Yoga at the Callahan Senior Center at 10 a.m. today. Cost $3

3. It is Framingham High vs Natick High School in baseball today at 3:45 p.m.

4. Framingham Town Meeting continues tonight. Last night, Town Meeting members approved more than $18 million in water projects and another $9 million in sewer projects.

Town Meeting Night 6, is scheduled to begin at 7:30 in Nevins Hall inside the Memorial Building or when a quorum is reached. Town Meeting is begin discussion and voting on a $247 million operating budget for the government and the schools for Fiscal year 2015, which starts July 1.
