Election Day, Flyers Host Mustangs in the Pool and Football Slideshows

McAuliffe Regional Public Charter School will hold an open house tonight.

1. Today is election day in Framingham, as voters in town and across the Fifth Congressional District will go to the polls to select one Democrat and one Republican to face off in a special election in December to become the district's newest U.S. Representative.

The polls will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Framingham.

2. The Framingham High girls swim team will host the Norwood Mustangs at 4 p.m. today at Keefe Technical's pool. Go Flyers!

3. In Case You Missed It:  In just 4 days, 349 people made donations and raised $20,440 to help the Tierney family of Framingham. Their daughter, Emma, 7, a second grade student was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this month.

4. McAuliffe Regional Public Charter School will hold an open house tonight at 6:30.

5. Framingham Patch covered all three high school's football games over the holiday weekend, thanks to Kevin Cummings of Cummings Photography in Framingham.
