Flyers Seek First Win, Italian Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and Congressional Candidates on Gun Control

Framingham Community Theater will stage The DuhVinci Affair, a murder mystery dinner theater tonight at Bella Costa Ristorante.

1. Framingham High School football team has a good chance of earning its first win of the season tonight.  The Flyers will host Brookline at Bowditch Field at 7 p.m. Both teams are 0-4.

2.  Framingham Community Theater will stage The DuhVinci Affair, a murder mystery show Friday nights in October, including tonight, at Bella Costa Ristorante. Tickets may not be available at the door, so call ahead. For more details, click here.

3. Framingham has the second-highest rate of uninsured children and the ninth-highest rate of uninsured adults in the state. Recently, MutualOne Charitable Foundation awarded $2,500 to the MetroWest Free Medical Program will be able to enhance its efforts to serve as an entry point to the healthcare system for adults and children in Framingham.

4.  Middlesex Sheriff and 5th congressional candidate Peter Koutoujian will be in Framingham this morning. He will talk with voters at the MBTA commuter rail station downtown about 7:20 a.m. He will spend about 30 minutes there before heading to the Natick MBTA commuter station. he will start his day at the Sunnyside Diner in Ashland at 6:30 a.m. Koutoujian is one of seven individuals who will be on the Democratic primary ballot Tuesday.

5. In Case You Missed It: Framingham Patch has been running a series of articles this week on the 10 candidates (seven Democrats and three Republicans) seeking to become the next U.S. Representative for the 5th Congressional District. The district's former Congressman Ed Markey is now the state's junior senator.
