Framingham Ballerinas in Nutcracker, Brophy Night at Lotus Flower and Framingham High Night at Uno's
Framingham School Committee and Framingham Selectmen are both scheduled to meet tonight.
1. Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. in the King Administration Building. On the agenda is a presentation by the Framingham Education Foundation on its annual adult spelling bee, a report on the district's special education department and update on the Leading Edge Achievement Project (LEAP).
2. Support local schools by eating out tonight.
- It is Brophy Elementary School night at Lotus Flower, which specializes in Taiwanese cuisine, but has your standard favorite Chinese dishes such as hot & sour soup and General Tso chicken. Bring in the coupon at this link, to support the school.
- It is Framingham High Music Night at Uno's. have lunch, dinner or take out and it will support the Framingham High School Music Booster Club. Bring in the coupon at this link, to support the school.
3. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building. On the agenda is a preliminary discussion of the tax rate for 2014 and discussion on downtown layout alterations.
4. The Framingham District Commission is scheduled to meet tonight, Dec. 3 at 7:30 in the Memorial Building.
5. In Case You Missed It: Elizabeth Rookey, Caroline Mack and Katie MacDonald from Framingham, MA will perform in Walnut Hill School for the Arts’ winter production of The Nutcracker later this month in Natick.
