1. There will be no winter Framingham Farmers' Market today. Management of the market cancelled the rest of the winter season due to a lack of vendors and participation. The Framingham Farmers' Market is expected to return to the Framingham centre Common in June. For the winter season, the market had less than 10 vendors.

2. Despite the cancellation  of the market, Transition Framingham will still hold its free eco-friendly bird feeders workshop at First Parish in Framingham UU parish hall lobby at 24 Vernon St. from noon to 5:30 p.m. Materials will be provided. Bird feeders will be made with bagel slices, margarine, bird seed, and biodegradable cotton string — this leaves no trash behind. For allergen safety, no nuts are included in the bird seed.
