1. Laughter is always the best medicine and today at the Callahan Senior Center in Framingham will host a free Laughter Yoga class at 10 a.m.

Laughter Yoga encourages playfulness, deep belly laughs, social connection, and a balance of mind, body and spirit. It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing. This brings more oxygen to the body and the brain which makes one feel more energetic and healthy. All ability levels can participate, as you can sit or stand. No experience necessary. No mat needed. Please bring water to drink. The class will be led by Linda Hamaker, a certified Laughter Yoga teacher and Co-founder of www.letslaughtoday.com.

2. McCarthy Elementary is holding a fundraiser at SkyZone in Westborough between 3 and 8 p.m. today. Click here for more details on how to participate.

3. Congrats to the Framingham High's hockey team, who defeated Needham 3-1 Wednesday night at Loring Arena. The game was part of Flyers hockey's participation in the Coaches vs. Cancer program, in which the Flyers chose to dedicate the game to benefit the American Cancer Society. Fans were encouraged to wear pink and purple to the game and all the players will wear purple to honor loved ones touched by cancer. Framingham goals were scored by Ryder Lessing, Kyle Caso & Cory Gorovitz.
Framingham Patch had a photographer at the game and will post a slideshow later today.

Earlier in the night at Loring Arena, Marian High/Keefe Tech hockey team lost last night to Westborough 4-2.
