Ice Cream Social, 40th Birthday Party, Chicken Parm Night and Art Reception

To celebrate the end of the summer Dig Into Reading program, the main Framingham Library will hold an ice cream social at 2 p.m. followed by a free screening of the movie The Rose of The Guardians.

1. To celebrate the end of the summer Dig Into Reading program, the main Framingham Library will hold an ice cream social at 2 p.m. followed by a free screening of the movie The Rose of The Guardians. Today's event is sponsored by Office Max.

2. In observance of National Community Health Center Week, the Edward M. Kennedy CHC in Framingham will host an art reception this evening. The reception will mark the official 'unveiling' of a number of original pieces of art donated by Art Connection. The intent of the art is to provide reflection, comfort and hope for patients.

3. If you have a child attending public school, and would like to enroll them in religious education class for Grades K-5 visit the St. Bridget Parish website and download a registration form and send it to the office at 832 Worcester Rd Framingham ASAP.  Classes begin on Sept. 18 from 4 to 5:15 p.m. and al students must be pre-registered. 4. Wednesday is Chicken Parm night at Nobscot's Cafe. For $9.99 you get chicken parm, ziti or linguini and a garden salad.

5. The Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center is celebrating its 40th birthday. Framingham Patch will more on the birthday celebration and details about the hotel's new restaurant Postern Grill tomorrow.
