UPDATED: Parent Donates School Bus, Open House at Framingham High and Lecture on Lincoln

Tonight is open house at Framingham High; and parents will follow their child's schedule, attending 10-minute classes, where each teacher will discuss the curriculum, test methods, homework, etc.

2.  The Framingham High football team opened its season on the road Wednesday night against Franklin and lost 40-0.

Next up for the Flyers is Waltham on Friday, Sept. 20 

3. Stop by the Framingham Farmers Market at the Framingham Centre Common today from noon to 5:30 p.m.

4. Chocolate Therapy, a Framingham business off Route 9 east, held its first chocolate and wine tasting Tuesday night, with members of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce's Women's Fun Federation. Check out a slideshow of photos by clicking here.

Bonus: Learn about Lincoln at Gettysburg as part of Framingham Public Library's Lifelong Learning Lecture Series tonight at 7. Framingham State University visiting history professor Gary Hylander will present the lecture. November marks the sesquicentennial of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Th lecture is free and will be in the Costin Room at the main Library.
