School Committee, Planning Board and Ellingwood Construction Settlement Meetings Tonight

Framingham School Committee agenda includes a report on the MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey report, discussion on 2014-15 school calendar and vote on budget transfers, including money for a communications consultant.


1. Saxonville residents, Town Meeting members and the public are encouraged to attend a meeting about the Ellingwood Construction settlement tonight at Cameron Middle School's auditorium at 7:30. The agreement focuses on the brick and concrete recycling and grinding operations at its facility at 145 Meadow St. in Framingham.

2. Due to a clerical error, there was no School Committee meeting on Tuesday night. The Framingham School Committee will instead meet tonight at 7 in the King Administration Building.

On the agenda is report on the MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey report, a vote to resubmit an application to the Massachusetts school Building Authority for the Fuller project, a discussion on the 2014-15 school calendar, and a vote on FY2014 budget transfers, including money for a communications consultant.

3. The Framingham Planning Board is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Ablondi Room in the Memorial Building.

On the agenda is site plan review public hearing on Genzyme's development of 2-8 New York Avenue, a site plan review public hearing, under the Dover amendment, for the Christa McAuliffe Regional Public Charter school in Framingham to Newbury Street and a public hearing on the development of Clarks Hill in Framingham.
4.  This afternoon, town leaders will finalize the sale of the historic Jonathan Maynard Building at 14 Vernon St. to Danforth Art. Framingham Patch will have a full report.

5.  Framingham photographer Lynne Damianos will host a photography presentation at the main Framingham Library tonight at 7. The presentation, titled "What's Wrong with This Photograph" will help attendees understand why certain photographs don't come out the way you expect them to and how to modify your camera settings. Damianos will offers tips and techniques to make your future photographs better. Attendees are asked to bring their cameras (with fresh batteries and manual) to the free presentation.
