Vietnamese Restaurant Wants to Open Downtown, 2013 Boston Marathon Bibs and Hurricane Sandy Anniversary

1. A Vietnamese restaurant is seeking to open in downtown Framingham. 
Pho Dakao will go before Framingham Selectmen for a license to open in the former Limey's Pub location. The Vietnamese restaurant is also seeking an all-alcoholic license.

2. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet at 7 in the Ablondi Room in the Memorial Building.

Also on the agenda tonight is an update from the Framingham Downtown Renaissance organization, a discussion on how to allocate 2013 Boston Marathon bibs awarded to the Town of Framingham and Selectmen may open and close a Special Town Meeting warrant. 

3. Today is the anniversary of Hurricane Sandy.
At one point, 22 percent of the town was without power. One of the worst streets hit was McAdams Road. Almost a week later, it still was without power.

4. Thursday is Halloween. Framingham does not have set trick or treating hours. So, we want to know Where are the Best Trick-or-Treat Neighborhoods in Town? Want to know which neighborhoods have good sidewalks, a solid cluster of houses, no massive hills, not too dark, a welcoming vibe and great decorations or full-size andy bars? 5. In Case You Missed It: Framingham Superintendent of Schools discussed ways to deal with overcrowding in the town's elementary schools. He said his administration reviewed a number of options, and came to the conclusion the best solution was his proposed Project Leap. He said there was really just three viable options - do nothing, Project LEAP or re-district the entire town.
