A Free Eight week Spiritual Practice Group Starting in February

A Spiritual Practice Group is being offered at First Parish Wayland a Unitarian Universalist congregation, led by Lisa Mobayed our Ministerial Intern.  Two Tuesday evenings a month we will meet to develop and receive support for our spiritual practice, however fledgling or flourishing that may be. Those interested will be asked to sign up in advance and commit to attending at least 7 of the 8 classes.  In the first class we will discuss those things we already do that could be developed into a more significant practice, and be presented with a broad range of what constitutes “practice.”  Each class will include discussion, introduction of ideas and materials, and time practicing.

Classes meet on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm.  The dates are as follows:  February 11 and 25, March 11 and 25, April 15 and 29, May 13 and 27.  Those interested in signing up may contact Lisa Mobayed at lmobayed@uuwayland.org or call the church office at 508-358-6133. For the group to run we will need at least five committed people. Sign up ends on February 6th or when we reach our maximum capacity of twelve—whichever comes first.
