FHS Girls Field Hockey Season Ends
After an impressive win on Wednesday night against Central Catholic, the Framingham High Girls Field Hockey team traveled to Acton High to face off against Acton-Boxborough who is ranked #1 in the MIAA tournament. Even though the Flyers lost, they played their hearts out and didn't look like a #17 ranked team. The final score was 2-0 which a lot of people were thinking that the game would be a blowout since Acton-Boxborough is such a tough team. The final score was 2-0 and after the game, the head coach told the girls that she was pleased with how they played. There were tears but they weren't tears because they lost, they were tears because for most of the ladies, it would be the last time they would play as a team since 12 of them are graduating in the Spring. These ladies are a special group and can hold their heads up for a great season and representing Framingham well in the two rounds of the playoffs.
