Flyers Host Brockton in Scrimmage

The Framingham High football team hosted the Brockton Boxers at Bowditch Field on Wednesday evening in a scrimmage match to get the boys ready for the regular season. The game which was scheduled to start at 5:00 was delayed for about a half hour since no official showed up. One of the coaches from Framingham who happened to have experience wearing the stripes called home and had his shirt rushed to the field. Brockton took an early lead with a rushing offense. Both teams had turnovers and both had an extra point blocked.  The last drive of the game for Brockton turned into an interception but because of the late start the game it was decided that the game was over with just 8 minutes left leaving the score at 13-6 Brockton.
