SLIDESHOW: Lady Flyers Advance in MIAA Tournament

The Framingham High Girls Lacrosse team hosted King Philip in MIAA tournament play on Tuesday afternoon and got of to an early lead. With just 48 seconds into the game, Framingham took the lead and built on it. By halftime, it was 6-1 Framingham.
King Philip did help out though. With about 12 minutes to play in the game, they were called on their 4th yellow card putting them down a player for the rest of the game. That wasn't the last of the penalties, just a few minutes later, they were given another card making that 5 so for the rest of the game, Framingham played with a 2 player advantage.
The Flyers allowed only 2 goals in the second half while scoring 7.
With the win, the ladies will travel to Lincoln Sudbury on Friday for the 2nd round of the tournament.
